CCM(Refund)/Northern Railway, Delhi
50% refund has been made to me by Northern railway, Delhi against e-ticket TDR ref. No: ekt200911800824113 after sleeping on refund file for 6 months. The Rajdhani train 2431 was running 11hrs. late. and so we had to cancell journey from Kota To NZM on 7th Dec'09. PNR Ref. No 4524166396.
For balance 50% refund IRCTC have sent letter to NR Railway on 14-May-2010 stating that 'Train Late More Than Three Hours.', so please reopen the case and grant the refund as per rule.

Thanks for your reply conveying the general TDR filing rules/procedure/timing etc.
@ But the question here is that of claiming 100% / full refund in case of cancellation happening on account of the factor - train delayed by more than 3 hrs. Are there any Spl pre-cautions one needs to take so as to fall in line for full refund ? Is the cancellation /TDR filing @ 6.15 am by the original guest... came in the way for 100% refund claim ?
