The Dharamtul - Kampur (32.5 Km) section of the Digaru - Hojai Double Line project was inspected on 03.11.21 by Md. Latief Khan, CRS/N.F. Circle on Motor trolley followed by speed trial @ 120 Kmph. He authorized the opening of the section at a speed of 100 Kmph.
With CRS inspection and subsequent authorization to open this new BG UP line for passenger and freight train movement, the throughput of the Guwahati - Lumding section under the Lumding division of NFR will improve.
