Ya.what to do,!!!!.no problem. I did it because there is lot of confusion for many where it terminates at south or north So just for them to understand easily I thought if doing it.
There are no trains terminating @ Ernakulam Town(ERN) or Ernakulam North, as it is locally called. Generally most of the trains running via KTYM (except Venad & Kerala Express) operate via ERN; all trains going to/via ALLP come to Ernakulam Junction(ERS) or Ernakulam South(as it is locally known). Basically the line to KTYM bifurcates between ERN & ERS; the line to ALLP continues southward from ERS.
When a city has 3 stations having common first name then it's needed to add "Junction" with the name to avoid confusion. If we can add ''Terminus'' with the name of of any train then this problem with the word "Junction'' is unjustifiable. Why making things complex when we can provide information in a simplified manner to our visitors. Request to the Moderator to confirm this entry.
