What will SR try to achieve by delinking the rakes of PC and MS-CAPE? Pathetic to see the way the zone is functioning. They didnt even care to build a pitline at CAPE and decongest NCJ.

Absolutely reckless on part of SR to be honest. They act as though this train is loss making when it gets them a good amount of revenue.
2 pitlines can be constructed at CAN

Charminar extension won't happen as far as I'm concerned. The IT employees and regular travellers will notice the decrease in quotas and eventually a new train demand will be on the paper. All these years demand was there, they should have given a new daily train from the start. Now they are thinking about extending a prestigious train such as Charminar. Extensions have their own purpose as you mentioned. Many zones have done extensions in the name of transferring PM or SM responsibility/RSA issues. Sabari's main issue is the TAT at SC, which makes it a very viable candidate for extension. I don't hope for it. We all have seen the connectivity this train provides to Kerala. SCR / SR allow specials running peak season to earn their profits but God forbid they run a new train to cater to the demand of this route. One thing is for sure, the...

Currently all they can do is get rid of PM trains at TVC. Venad/Ernad/Parasuram can have PM @ MAQ. Construction of a new terminal for SM trains can be taken up beyond TVC, towards NCJ line.
by re-routing existing NCJ KCG Weekly via-TPJ,TJ,MV,VM,TNM,KPD and making it daily is the best thing. But still the political pressure from down south regarding this Charminar extension till MDU,TEN, NCJ is very high there will be a compensation on this extension by giving 3 more addition train connectivity to hyderabad from chennai. Merging of SC GNT ICE with MAS BZA JanShatabdi, a new VB and a new bi-weekly or 4 day weekly till RMM which will be last train from both chennai and Hyderabad. The main thing for pulling this train is SR is not ready for a new daily train
