Arnab, a VB( 8 coacher) between HZBN - HWH/SDAH/KOAA can still be tried out via - KQR( with reversal).
Hazaribagh needs train for long distance. It has many schools and colleges, attracting lots of students. As an important district in Jharkhand, it also sees heavy travel. Many buses show high demand. A direct train to Howrah and Delhi would boost travel and benefit the railways financially.
You are right, running via KQR would be more beneficial rather than running it via the shortest route (DC line).

From an administrative point of view HZBN is very important too, it is the head of the North Chotanagpur Division.
HZBN is not what it was historically , but still it is a place of very high importance!

The entire issue is trivial and can be easily be resolved by running it via Jaunpur...
22323/24 is actually a HWH - BSB train only. Only thing is that it terminates at GCT. For GCT and PNBE, isn't 13121/22 KOAA - GCT Express the natural choice given it's timing?
Shabd Bhedi should continue to run via GC and BSB. If reversal is a problem, could be diverted and run between KOAA - AYC/LJN/LKO/GTNR with increase in frequency.

Good idea! A KOAA/SDAH/HWH -LKO/LJN dedicated train is the need of the hour. Shabd Bhedi came into fruition due to the efforts of Mr Manoj Sinha. Now, if NR is not interested in running it via GC citing operational limitations at BSB, it should be terminated at AYC/LJN instead...
