Can it be a local name for the city? It isn't official but many people do refer to it as Mangalapuram. What is the origin of this name?

Maybe in North Kerala, In the south its pronounced as Mangalore.
That's Palakkad division's stupidity, nothing else.
It used to be announced as Mangalore/Mangaluru in Hindi/English and Mangalapuram in Malayalam only. Now they've changed it to Mangalapuram in all languages which confuses travellers from outside Kerala.

The name Mangalore or Mangalapuram comes from the Mangala Devi temple and shrine.
As the other observers mentioned, only stations in PGT division announce Mangalapuram in all languages, while in TVC division, they use Mangalapuram for only Malayalam and switch to Mangalore for the rest of the announcements.

Confusion of this name is an issue. People rarely pay attention to Train numbers. Perhaps the other name should gain more popularity as well. Like Kolkata, Calcutta, Kalakattha in Telugu or Rajamundry, Rajamahendravaram and so on. Should we introduce this kind of local pronounciations in other states as well is another question that can be asked?

I never like to stalk people & their personal activities, but for this case, it was necessary to prove that Moyna's account actually belongs to Aishik .

I do believe he's a psyco, unsocial in his personal life, having over-obsession towards particular things, attention seeker, and when denied attention, he scripts several plots of getting attention either by getting sympathy or, by creating controversies

I guess so. Once he kept giving red flags to my img trains for whatever reasons so I went and searched his imaginary train list to see if he himself follows these things for which he red flagged me. Found out 3-4 irregularities and red flagged them, soon started getting replies tagging me to stop spamming and giving unnecessary red flags. Well atleast there was no FM warning to ne in that case.

He's the perfect example of borderline personality disorder. But if he kept it to making multiple IDs only, it'd have still been tolerable. But he has crossed the threshold of what's tolerable.

Khub mod sir ne hi ek blog mein bole the ki multiple accounts create karna allowed hain IRI mein. Jab mod khud hi allow kar rahe hein to humlog kon hote hain iske birodh karne wale. Yeha pe logo ko bas active members ka number increase karana hein chahe ek member 10 account hi qna operate kar rah ho. Recent years mein isi chalte forum ka ambience aur quality dono kafi deteriorate kia hei, kafi old members bhi ab active ni rehte lekin usse ghanta kisiko koi fark ni padta yeha pe.
