SaiCharan^~ 3403 blog postsFor Ernakulam Patna Express, one very rare case where they have 12 Sleeper and 2 general coaches. This is probably one such train which has retained a similar coach composition as that of ICF rake
2AC will be replaced with GS which is very rare. As its being from Sep 17th after ARP should have replaced SL with GS and retain 2AC as its long route the quotas will already be less will get reduced further.
Earlier train only had one 2AC so they retained the same. With 12 sleeper coaches in LHB means at least 960 seats. But you are right ideally all trains should at least have minimum 4 gen coaches
Please mark dobh bahali hansi line as single electric line. Because electrification work is completed and CRS inspection is also done

Only Kalka, Unchahar, Kalindi are remaining for being LHB.
Unchahar and Kalindi should be LHBfied in next 1 year.

It should be LHBfied ASAP but a big NO to rake standardization
Rack standardization policy has been withdrawn. Most of the trains have been reverted back to old CC.
Instead of trying to earn money by increasing AC coaches, they should focus on other methods which can help to reduce the gap between Sleeper and AC fare.

I think the extreme rake standardization of each and every train was a bad idea as of now. Instead they should have gone for keeping 5 to 7 SL coaches with 3 GS and 9 to 11 AC coaches type rake standardization in long distance trains initially.
Also now in some trains where AC travel demand exists they have reduced AC coaches which is also a bad idea eg. Goa express it will have only one 3AC and two 3E from June it's a terrible coach composition in my opinion.

3E prices if priced lower would have been a superb middle ground between SL and 3AC.
In a country like India Air Conditioners should be a necessary commodity not a luxury because of the hot weather. I travelled in SL class in the hot month of May in 2014 it was a horrible journey coz of the heat and today combined with the overcrowding in SL it's a nightmarish experience.

then they have to slew that line from right to left cuz pf no1 line goes directly in madgaon coaching depot
already goans are opposing for 2nd line from majorda to vasco somehow swr has laid 2nd line from vasco now hard part is to lay 2nd line from dabolim to majorda
Dabolim to Sankval it's difficult coz of terrain. Sankval to Cansaulim ground levelling going on as per the video almost all required land is acquired. Cansaulim to Majorda second line is already laid only track linking works left at Cansaulim.
ya some part of flyover touches railway track too close at dabolim
More than this doubling what I'm more eager about are two things
1. Second pitline commissioning at Vasco
2. LHB conversion of SHM VSG exp.
