What's reason they want to do it? As Yeshwantpur is so convenient compared to SMVT Bengaluru. I think SWR wants to empty Yeshwantpur as well.
Only for a limited period of around a month after that it will be back to YPR.
But if possible SWR should think of extending it to KSR Bengaluru. Some Karnataka based SWR passenger association recently demanded it also.

Probably some operational constraints, redevelopment works or so. But I don't think they'll send it to SBC even if they think of extending if from YPR, most probably it'll be dumped to SMVB like many other trains.

Archival is done on request too. Sometimes, system fails to find controversial posts and post remains as it is. Thus, this site has report icon, you can click on report button and write your issues there with the blog. Forum monitors will analyse the blog and language, behavior in posts. If found guilty, blog post will be archived and sometimes may be deleted too.
Correct. Actually every thing is voluntary here so course of action differs many a times. When I saw this locking I thought it was not justified, so after gaining consensus unlocked it. Well whenever you or anyone notice that a particular blog thread is getting controversial you may report the main blog in order to get them locked.
On request archival is done only when blog owner reports to lock the blog irrespective of situation.
If it's done on request, then it should be properly mentioned while archiving the post, which wasn't the case here. That's why I questioned the decision.
And while I agree with you here, all I'm saying is, if a monitor takes suo moto cognizance of civilised arguments, they should do the same with the blogs which have really been derailed. Or in a few particular cases, the serial offenders.

I agree with you here. Before I could even clarify why I said what I said, the blog was archived. Even when the last blog was of OP saying that there's no argument going on. That matters because I was replying to OP.
The sad state of affairs is that even some monitors who are here for more than a decade think that this is just a place to pass their free time. We can see why this site has been deteriorated from what it used to be in its prime.

It is a SF train between Kacheguda and Benguluru as it still maintains 55kmph, but non SF only in Benguluru Mysuru section for local passengers. As it's extended and timings to Mys are relaxed for all trains to free PFs and Stabling lines in SBC they will collect SF surcharge as 85% get down at Benguluru and they don't want to lose that revenue. Ideally speaking the stations in extended portion should not be collected SF surcharge from Kacheguda too as avg speed is less then 55kmph.

Officially on IRCTC, even between SBC to MYS also get SF charges in train 12785/86.
