In your opinion, which are the best 6-8 hour trips in Superfast trains that every railfan should partake - Also - Let others know - WHY this should be in the list?
To start with - I would include
1. Madgaon Shatabdi for the Konkan route in broad daylight....both toward Mangalore and Mumbai......
2. Uttar Sampark Kranti - esp on JAT-UHP route, again beautiful route

1. Mumbai Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Exp going from B-Town towards Heaven on Earth, Konkan Railway.
(I seemed to enjoy Konkan between Mumbai-Madgaon you should take 1 full day and travel in 10103 Mandovi Exp or 50105 Sawantwadi Passenger. Both trains can give you stomach full journey and slowly slowly will make u to enjoy Konkan)

12134 Mangalore-Madgaon or if you can spare 14 hours for the journey, then Mangalore-Mumbai on the same train. This is the overtaking King of Konkan and slams the Konkan Kanya and Rajyarani in between Madgaon and Chiplun.
