Duplicate Express : Howrah - Varanasi, later Howrah - Amritsar [unofficial]
(The Howrah-Amritsar Exp. is considered a poor cousin of the more prestigious Howrah-Amritsar Mail, hence the term 'duplicate'. The name appeared on schedule boards at Bareilly, although it was not officially in any timetables. The train was originally (1960) the Howrah-Benaras Express and Passenger to Jaunpur (15/16 on ER).)
