Does this train 16517 go to Calicut/Kozhikode as well?? Although the train timetable doesnt mention it, i heard few ppl saying that this train actually goes to Calicut too.. hence the confusion

No it doesnt go to Calicut- it terminates at Kannur- People sometimes confuse this with 16527/28 that goes via Calicut to Kannur
This will not go to CLT. Even there is no connection from CAN too. There is a demand for extension upto CLT. But with the existing timing no use. This train runs behind MAQ-CBE passenger.
