If the two wheels are fixed at the axle i.e. both rotate at same speed, how do trains take a turn????

the tracks are raised at an angle of 15 degrees depending on the speed at which majority of the trains will be crossing it
suppode the curve is at a big stations platform then the elevation is decreased as trains wont cross at greater speed.
if elevation not done, it will lead to wear and tear if the inner track...
centripetal force n centrifugal...
