DineshGada 754 blog postsI had created one chain 18695/Σ Pune Bidar Bi- Weekly Express ΣChain recently on IRI. Please let me know whether the booking clerk will allow me to avail the telescopic benefit for this chain from Pune-Parli-Bidar. Why this question is both of the trains have common route from Latur Road junction to Parli Vaijanath and the Latur Road junction being the first station on the common route. As far as I know the clerks try to find the shortest distance while giving the telescopic benefit. Hence I am skeptical that the clerk will allow this booking and rather he would suggest me Latur Road junction as the interchanging point. I do not want Latur Road junction to be the interchange point considering the early morning hours and waiting for 4 hours for the connecting train. If I had to select the parbhani route then from where I need to book the ticket? Parli or Pangaon?
Neither Parli nor Pangaon would qualify for a telescopic benefit. You will have to book 2 separate tickets.
