IN 2A CLASS THERE IS ONLY ONE SEAT NO. 47 WHICH IS SINGLE LOWER BIRTH
THATS WHY 47 IS A RAC BIRTH.

You mean to say there are no other berths other than 47 in 2A Class which are lower berths? (It is berth and not birth)

but i mean to say in some coaches there is a single Berth which is not shared with anybody alse..generally in that coach 46 or 47 is the Last seat near Door.
So i thought this may be the reason IR has allotted that berth as RAC.
