Yesterday memorable events were registered in the history of Patiala or DLMW as the Chairman of Railway Board, Mr. Arunendra Kumar and other officials visited DLMW and inspected Patiala station also.

here the day begins, Mr. Arunendra Kumar arrived at Patiala station in early morning from UMB from 14525, where his saloon was attached and de attached at PTA 7 am or so and kept idle at PF 1A, where the all decoration for VIP person was made 1-2 days back, with those red carpets, stage, etc. After that him with some more officials went to DLMW for loco flag off, where DLMW's newly rebuilt ALCO of WDM-3D from WDM-3A that is GOC WDM3D #16666R and also another newbie for WCR the Multi Generator Set equipped ET WDM-2G #80001.

Because of these VIPs arrival the Patiala area was so busy for past 3 weeks, where there were red flags, sleepers replacement, painted the grills etc. to give this Patiala station a new look.
