sahi kaha sir.....ye to fir v single line hai yaho to mazburi hai...... SMTA ke baad v yahi haal hota hai Doubled line me O/T pe O/T hote hi rhte hai...

is gaari ka sanatan kaaal se yehi raha hain.....kisi ne koshish nahi kari ki iska uthhhan ho...........My take is why not convert this train to a FAST PASSENGER and attach 3AC,SL to it so that passengers from Dekargaon can have a sleeping accomodation.Its tough for passengers from Tezpur and surrounding areas to on board this train at night without sleeping accomodation.Trains from pocket areas run on this principle only In the morning passengers can on board various long distance train from RNY,NBQ.If it is augmented in this pattern the importance will increase.Some deletion in stoppages are required.Then this can act as a potent intercity train from Upper Assam to North Bengal.A DEMU can be run in NBQ-NCB-NJP section in lieu of it.
actually the attached HCPVs to this train spoil all these proposal..... bcoz 3-4 HCPVs are earning the diesel expense for this train easily so niether APD nor KIR is bother about passengers in this train..... even doubling v iska kuch nahi kar sakti.. O/T to jhelna hi parega isko...
to bekaar isko Dekargaon tak extend kyun kia...........koi fayda nahi ho raha hain??????????
