For crossing ENGLISH CHANNEL between British ( ISLAND ) and French ( EUROPE MAIN LAND ) so many flights and ships are there.But they Europeans ,construct UNDER SEA ENGLISH CHANNEL RAIL TUNNEL ( EUROTUNNEL )of length 37.9 km in the sea portion for crossing English Channel .
So we INDIA ( INDIA MAIN LAND ) and SRILANKA ( ISLAND ) should be connected by the less cost effective OVER HEAD SEA BRIDGE of length 36 km .The under sea tunnel construction costs are very much more over than over head sea...
