track condition from RMPH to MLDT is bizarre.The soil state is worse.MLDT-NJP IS OK.Heard that electrification is going in full swing and is completed upto AUB in BARSOI-NJP nd upto PAKUR IN hwh/sdah-mldt section.But dont think having WAP in place of WDP will have much change in running.
Electrification is going on but not in Full Swing... Soil condition is an issue but can solved... If their is a will their is way... The will is not their... Without Electrification & Improved Track Condition the scenario of railway connectivity in this part of India will not improve... Hope not for the Best...

To note Electrification in Baruani - New Jalpaiguri - Guwahati was declared as a National Project in the Year 2008... Still now project is in such a stage, it will take 2 decades to complete or more......
