Is Fire , the only Cause of removing Curtains from , AC Coaches ?? Think again..
The railways is in the process of removing curtains from AC 3-tier coaches because the curtain rods were installed too close to the base of ceiling fan and could not be closed properly. "Features included without any foresight have cost the railways time and money," the official said.

lame excuse....even if the curtains could not be closed properly,it used to provide some amt of privacy...rlys involving their brains too much into unnecessary issues,but agree with all the other opinions expressed in the article...the primary idea is rly trying to invent all the fittings inside the coach which are anti-'Beast-like-Indians' who finds joy among themselves in vandalizing govt property
