what is the problem with MGS-ALD section? All trains that pass through this section, gets delayed by 4-5 hrs daily. take the example of 12150. MGS-on time, ALD- 5 hrs late approx daily.

The structure of MGS & ALD is responsible for such delay...as far as Mughal Sarai is concerned though it has a huge(probably Asia's largest) goods marshalling yard but whenever a goods train is started from the yard & moves towards BSB/ALD side,it has to pass through the main stn,thus blocking both Up & Dn trains movement.& for Allahabad the yard itself is so small that its impossible to accomodate goods train inside the yard,it can neither through pass nor can be stationary.which is also responsible for blocking the entrance & exit to the station

Then in that case, a simpler solution does exist....
1. For MGS, IR can construct a flyover for freights (just like KYN in CR Mumbai to crossover to NE line without interfering SE line) which will join the main line a couple of kms post MGS ..

shifting of ALD yard to few kms off ALD and using the present one by remodelling it to use as a terminal for few trains leaving the existing ones for passing trains...

Yes Ald yard is not much big it has 10 pf and 4 line for goods train chheoki can accomodate many goods train at once and also chunat and mirzapur can handle 5-5 goods train each at once .

its the combined problem of heavy traffic during night time , then compulsory reversal if ald is touched for trains like patna - pune , sanghamitra etc ..so reduce the late latifi of these trains alteadt they should be turned from cheoki itself , which will require no reversal as well as trains might save time because of the heavy rush at ALD ..
