So, We will be getting High speed trains between Mumbai And Ahmedabad ?

Even if its installed over night, will it benefit Indians anything ?
Rather than spending this huge money for a distance of 400 kms, better they spend the money on upgrading tracks to get an avg speed of 80-100. Sf should have 100 and mail/express can have 75kmph.
