What is purpose of attaching the inspection car at back side...
Since 'Inspection Car' is a special purpose coach meant exclusively for the travel of 'Divisional/Zonal Heads' or 'Railway Ministry Officials'.......attaching the car at the back makes it easier to 'Detach' when the 'Official tour' ends like at an intermediate station and the train can proceed further towards it's destination. Now,if the car is attached at the beginning or somewhere in between then the whole process of 'Removal/Detachment' makes it lengthy since the whole rake has to be disturbed.
If i could add.....if the car is attached immediately after the loco then the loco needs to be removed first of all in order to remove the Ins. car and then has to be shunted now imagine what it would be like to have it somewhere in the middle.Being attached at the end.......is the best and easiest way to go about doing things.
