Everyone know that the Howrah - Kharagpur Track was part of constructing the Howrah - Bombay VT (Mumbai CSTM) Trunk Route that was opened to train traffic in 1900 (As per Wikipedia). Can anyone tell me that when was the Kharagpur - Bangalore Track built by IR and when did IR open and then electrify the entire HWH - KGP - SBc Route ? Thanks :-)

It means that the Howrah - Kharagpur - Bangalore Route was opened in the Early or Mid 1900s and this Route was 100% Electrified by the Early 2000s. It seems that Calcutta is the First (Or Second after New Delhi) Metropolitan City of India to get connected to Bangalore via a 100% Electrified Route... SRC Wappies doing great work ;-)
