In what way will it offer more? Already thru IRCTC credit/debit cards and Internet banking are being used. Is that not good enough?
there are instances where transaction failure is occurring, to avoid that cash on delivery is likely to be launched...it is like erstwhile VPP... ( Value Payee Post), where u need to pay the money once we recd. the article by post... similar to cash on delivery on items purchased from Online.....

Cash on delivery service may attract more service charges. This might make it not so suitable. Anyhow, lets see how it goes!!!
