The double laning of the Panvel-Roha corridor started somewhere in 2011. The good news was the section between Panvel and Apta was opened for operations in 2012. However, there is no sign of when the section between Apta and Roha will be operational.
Now they are talking about trains at 160kmph by December-2015, which is just over a year to go. It seems the CR officials dream with their eyes open
