But why is ticket not issued to these stations?When i tried to book ticket between BNC and PGT, it shows booking not allowed for given pair of stations.

I got an official mail from IRCTC saying booking quota is not available between BNC and KTYM, book between BNC and TVC! So what is the point giving KTYM as a halt? People will book till ERN and get down at KTYM.
In that case you are travelling without ticket b/w ERN and KTYM
I won't. But as much as I know our people, lots of them will do this.
But I did. I booked upto to ERN to travel only till PGT, to experience the 'premium' effect and to see if it will cover the distance, up to PGT in less than 7 hours, which I seriously doubt?

Your case is different. You are not travelling without ticket. In fact you are shelling more.
