this is not 15725/26 ........ 15725-6 was cancelled till 14th october.. and a special train between NJP-NCB.. called 05725/26 NJP-NCB-NJP PUJA SPL was running...
what is the current status?Is 'padatik special' running or its back to conventional Intecity.Eastern Railway extending its own train to run its for a NFR special is a quite strange and a beautiful decision for me.I have always believed that Padatik should serve completely for the whole of North Bengal.Extension to New Coochbehar will enable to provide services to Jalpaiguri town,Maynaguri,Dhupguri ,Falakata,Coochbehar,Alipurduar,Dhubri,Jaigaon and other far flung areas.Increasee the accessibility. New Coochbehar has been developed with facilities to cater to maintenance of long distance trains and can handle Padatik and Uttarbanga simultaneously.Board that ER has designed so beautifully again strengthens my belief that its a long lasting decision and not a one off affair.
