The newly constructed bridge started functioning in river sone between son nagar and dehri on sone station on grand chord section. The birdge is triple line electfied but only up and down line are functioning as of now ,on the centre line the signals are not fixed yet . The tracks going to old bridge has been left and ohe wires has been dismantled . The old bridge is now history and their will be no trains passing by now , the old bridge was masterpiece which holds record of being longest rail bridge of India for a century .

No this bridge is for regular traffic , the construction for separate bridge is going on for #edfc just besides this one . the lights you see in the picture is of machines which are in engaged in construction of new bridge .
