Flop? No way. It one of the biggest hits among Premium trains! Bangalore - Kerala trains can never be flops. And this one runs at par with buses when it comes to speeds.
How many coaches the unused platform in BNC can hold? (Platform on left side of used for all arrivals from SBC side). If it can hold 10-14 coaches, definitely normal trains can run using that PF.
i think it can hold 15-18 coaches. Normal trains cant run permanently due to lack of space at SBC/BNC.. BYPL yard is not fully functional yet. We can expect new trains from BYPL once BYPL yard is expanded and PF space is extended.
Premium can run but normal can not run!? Why? If long distance trains cannot be introduced, it is OK. Run few short haul trains to Kolar, Salem, JTJ in day time (Express or passenger). They can come to BNC, halt for max 30-45 min and go back to their destinations. Run few passengers / DEMU to Hosur in day time, since the line is totally free after 7:30 AM till evening 6 PM.
