I usually get confirm ticket for intercity around a couple of weeks ago. Here, its full with two months to go.
Is there any function/festival on bbs/puri on 23rd of January?
Since I am looking to travel on same date, i was relaxed thinking that i would book it few days before journey date. But when I saw this today, I am pretty much shocked.

23-26 are holidays. So, most travellers will set off on 22nd night. They prefer to reach Puri on 23rd not to spend the whole day in train. So, those did not get tickets for 22nd night's train, now are booking in 23rd morning's train. Some are reserving seats upto BBS in other O/N trains on 22nd.
