Can't they convert budget announced day train into daily night train instead. Current day train 16515/6 can also be made to run daily.
And if there is demand, start a separate train between Cmgr/Mysuru and Mangalore.

Yet to inaugurate. Huge confusion of it running in loss, if runs in day.
Because already one tri-weekly day train is there via shorter route.

I dont see the demand of 2 day trains in that route despite of having a proper ONT train.
Atleast ONT must be triweekly and that Tri weekly ICE must be daily instead of this new train.
Even tough both ICE take diff route but to some distance only both share diff route i guess.

The Rlys can bifurcate 16517/18 from 16523/24 and run independently 16517/18 via MYS and 16523/24 via ASK so that we can have two night trains to MAQ from SBC. This could be made easily and quickly as Shiradi ghat is closed now
