Only daily train from Bundelkhand to Bihar, Gwalior - Barauni Mail, sets for its 1055 km long journey from Gwalior, a distance of 73 kms from here, and moves towards Datia railway station for a scheduled halt. Jhansi WDM-3A is its regular link. It takes 25 hours and 15 mins to reach Barauni. The snap has been taken from Birsingh Deo Palace.

Why no Mail trains in past 15-20 yrs? Does Rly have any Dushmani with RMS operations? Or is it too much professional that can't see anything beyond revenue & private parties?
