My friend and I will be visiting India starting next week and we are waitlisted on train 12343 northbound from Sealdah to New Jaipalguri on Sunday, Feb 1st. we're in 1st A/C and are at the top of the list according to the post as of this morning. We have travelled on Indian trains before and will be taking a bunch of them on this trip, starting in Delhi..all our other trains are confirmed so was wondering what to do if we turn up early on the day of and find that we are still waitlisted. We are both senior citizens, btw, and from the UK although I live in the States.

Don't worry it'll confirm.easily...
But as you've booked in 1A you won't get any special preference of Senior Citizen quota or being a Foreign Tourist..special.benefits for these two quota are normally earmarked in the Sleeper,2A & 3A coaches
