Saw the news in Mathrubhumi. As per news, it is considered to to run via MAQ. Also considering the use of DEMU to avoid loco reversal.
Nice. Definitely a positive development.
There were some discussions that CLT does not have terminal and as such trains should be sent to MAQ for cleaning, etc. But how come terminal facilities are available now? Need should be felt. Then, things will automatically follow.

Hope will materialise. If so this will be the first day train from Malabar to Udupi side. (As of now Poorna Exp is there).
A new 21 coach rake has already arrived and is stabled at Payyannur and most probably it is for Proposed Byndoor Kasargode Passenger.
Hope in the first day itself, it will be extended upto Calicut
