AfraazSuhail^~ 6885 blog postsI think the biggest succes of Indian Railways till date is connecting far northeast to rest of India. No more these places are unconnected to rest of India. Hope more northeast states like Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland and Manipur get a proper rail connectivity as soon as possible. Even states like Arunanchal Pradesh, Sikkim and Meghalaya need more rail connection. Its very important to give rail coonectivity to the seven sisters so that to give India a progress in all fields. Thanks to Indian Railways for giving much needed demand to the people of this region.

Next big thing will be the Siliguri - Gangtok BG Line. Then we can get a direct train from SDAH/KOAA to Gangtok and people will be able to avoid the bumpy jeep/SUV ride to the Sikkim State Capital. The line will make the journey to Gangtok faster, especially when the new route via Nathu La Pass to Kashi Mansarovar has opened :-D
