Few Days Back, I Learned That NJP-DJ Service Has Resumed.. Now I Dont Understand Why NFR Cant Plan A Service Similar To SHIVALIK EXPRESS, Which Is A Rajdhani Category Train Which Is Also An Official Connection To Shimla From Kalka . Similar Concept Can Be Implied Here In Bengal ....We ll Be Privileged To Have A SHIVALIK Type Service As Official Connection To Darjeeling Mail, Kamrup , Padatik & Kanchankannya Exp

Now its UNESCo Heritage & have resumed services after a long time...So to compensate the losses theyre charging high fare..Its fare structure can't be like normal AC Chair Car because ACC runs on broad gauge whereas DHR operates in NG which requires special attention

Agreed. But Railway Must Understand That If They Want Patronage, They Will Have To Be Flexible. For A 95 Kms Journey They Cant Charge 5000 Bucks..... That Also When We Have Only One Direct Train From NJP To DJ
