Ranjanrakesh 150 blog postsI would be travelling by 17007 next week till Samastipur and my boarding is at Secunderabad. Today's train was just delayed by 20 minutes at Barauni. But, by the time it reached Samastipur, the delay accumulated was around 1 hour 15 minutes.
What could be the reason of the delay in this stretch of journey? Isn't the route after Barauni, towards Darbhanga a double track or the traffic in this stretch is too much?
Can any member having an idea of this part of Bihar throw some light...

I would be reaching Samastipur on the 5th of March by 17007. After that I have to travel to Mahuaa (Vaishali).How far is the bus stand from the samastipur Railway station? And, also how is the frequency of buses from Samastipur towards Hajipur?

Bus stand is just 700-800 metres away from railway station..you'll catch a bus to mahua anytime you want..
Members, check out the running status of 17005 after Barauni. It reached Samastipur delayed by 20 minutes and then waited there for more than 1 hour before starting towards RXL.
