Mount (5 km) was sanctioned in 2006-07 at a cost of Rs. 495.74 crore with cost sharing between
Railways and State Government in 1:2 ratio. Work is in progress at various stages.

yes due to several several land aquisition issues, multiple court stay orders, protests. All the issues were cleared couple of months back and the project is back on fast track.
yes saw tracks from VLCY bridge. hope metro and this finish soon
