If break failure was the reason behind this derailment then i must say that there was a serious negligence in maintainance of these locos. These factors should be taken care of very seriously.Railway should understand the worth of human lives.
Why can't train accidents be prevented? Why do people have to lose their lives during train journeys? Can't IR take appropriate steps to prevent accidents and the resultant loss of lives and injuries?
RIP. Really sad to see this coach like a crumpled piece of paper.
I wonder that why isn't IR doubling the Varanasi - Rae Bareli - Lucknow Route from the past so many years? If it is a single line section then trains with ACD Fitted Diesel Locos should be made to run so that LPs may not have to make haste as it was in this case due to Ganga Gomti Express ahead on the same track as per some news reports. Timely checking of locos' and coaches' brake systems should also be carried out or else IR should stop printing "Happy Journey" on their issued train tickets >:-O
