Also they have to build some new stations or develop stations like Krishnadevaraya Halt, a station nearest to Manyata near Channasandra, a station nearest to ITPL. They will surely take the pressure off the already saturated roads.
yes but the problem is the need to double the lines now and atleast triple it later .
Few suggestions:-
1. A simple 2 km branch line originating between Hebbal and Lottegollahalli to link YPR-YNK line cutting through the outer ring road will do wonders. No need of loco reversals at YPR. Trains from Hosur side can go to Yelahanka side without any problem.
2. Rlys should link YPR-SBC lines to SBC-JTJ side lines at SBC. This will save lot of time, money, and energy. Trains like LTT-CBE can enter via YPR to SBC and go out via BNC side. Though loco reversal is required in this case, will save atleast...

BMTC is like a private organisation -- profit motive. Not a public transport. BMTC is running Volvo AC services towards Electronic city and ITPL etc. For other sectors, you have only non-effective Tata AC buses or old blue/ white dabbas.
This is to the disagreed Tejas: Public tpt corpns definitely should make profits, by operating user friendly mass tpt options. Not by running luxury services to high income groups.
