I have booked a ticket for 2 online, from Pune to Manmad, 1 seat was available so i got one confirmed and other is waiting PQWL/261
will my second seat get cancelled as it is online ticket. (It is one ticket for 2 people where 1 seat is confirmed and other is waiting)

If it remains in WL after chart preparation then it will not be cancelled automatically as it is a partially WL ticket.
if two people are in one pnr then second will not be cancelled automatically.The passenger should get a no show certificate fom TTE.If you want you can travel in same birth if seat not confirmed for second person after speaking to TTE.But in this case the second one might confirm mostly

Only Fully WL tickets get cancelled automatically if WL after charting...
You are allowed to take the 2nd person with you as the 2nd person's name also will appear on the chart. Just let TTE know about it before boarding and ask him to provide a berth for the 2nd person if the status remains as W/L. Until then, the person has to share seat/berth with yours.
