Rajendra Bridge
The 2 km long Rail-cum-Road Rajendra Bridge opened in 1959 on the Barauni-Mokama Section is the currently the only bridge which provides a rail link between North Bihar and South Bihar; the other one at Varanasi 350 km west and at Farakka in the east.
On an average, every 18 minutes a train moves across Ganges through this bridge (that too on a single BG Bridge).

Me to my family lives in north Bihar (chhapra and siwan) and my relatives in Patna . whenever I come to Bihar. I have to cross mahatma Gandhi setu which always either in maintainence or closed . so there's a lot of wastage of time..
