Passengers have to be traveled in the Thiruchendur-Tirunelveli-Thoothukkudi passenger train up to Vanchi Maniachi and catch the connecting train of Thoothukkudi-Mysore up to Madurai.Proper announcement have to be made in the Tirunelveli to Madurai station .9 hour delay of the Chalukya may be reduced to 3 hours at Madurai and so avoid ANY 6 hour DELAY in the YESVETPUR to Mumbai section.

Our indian railways system is not so active in coordination or concerned about the delay.
This is not at possible sire...What the passengers from TEN who booked for Mumbai, the passenger has to go and again come if it gets stuck some where anyways this train has to wait so rather than this much changes a single train can manage up & down..Also it has good slack in between and can cover up some of the lost time end to end.
This train has more slack time than running time. Any specific reasons for delay?
Even I could not believe the rescheduling despite a huge slack. It got diverted b/w Pune and Miraj. God knows why this stayed put at YPR for almost 1.5 hours despite running late horribly.
