I oppose the idea of levying Service Tax on Rail Passengers... While Passengers are viewing it as fare increase , IR is not benefitting from it at all.... I therefore propose Service Tax should be replaced with Railway Service Cess so that the amount earned goes to IR itself which can be used for improving safety n quality of travel..
