As if all trains are running late by chain pulling. Let them first focus on making a good TT, running the trains on time, make the block section KMs lesser than existing, instead of giving non-sense reasons.
Not a good move. Instead of curbing the untoward incidents they are going other way around.
What will happen in case of real emergencies? Time matters when there is emergency. So, can we find TTE during the crucial moment or catch hold of the person deputed for 3 coaches?

Yesterday in Kochuveli-Porbandhar express fire broke out in AC coaches. Noticed in time and was in Kallayi and was able to immediately extinguish the fire. Does the passenger need to search for the mobile number or need to search for the TTE (sometimes he will not appear at all)?

It's ironical to see that chain removal work from certain coaches has started in India from Bareilly onwards, a city that was in great news for chain pulling of trains like the Durgiana Express.... #TrackReforms ... this thing was discussed hugely by many IRI Members on our site since Chain Pulling had become a misusing tool for train robbers... I just hope that removal of chain alarms from General or Sleeper Coaches puts an end to train robberies on routes like Madhupur - Patna - Mughalsarai, Dhanbad - Gaya - Mughalsarai, Lucknow - Moradabad and Jhansi - Mathura - Delhi.... #IRIimpact :-)
Seems like this is hoax and railways don't have plans to remove emergency chains as per new news posted.
