I read in another news article on the same topic that the railway board members were delaying the publishing of the committee recommendations since it talked about reducing the powers of railway board and giving greater powers to zonal managers for decision making.

Undoubtefly all suggestions made by the committe would improve IR in a big way But what we need to see is whether RM is successful in making the govt not only to accept this report but implement it too. Else this report too would gather dust, like many other reports submitted by many committees earlier, in Rail Bhawan
