The Bengaluru City-Karwar Express departs from Byndoor. The station has changed completely now with the platform being shifted to the other side as seen in this picture.

The stations importance is due to the Kollur Mookambika Temple around 30KM away. Now a passenger train also started from here to Kasargod (recently extended to Cannanore as special)

Hope near by stations like Bijoor, shiroor are not ignored because of this station, those station helps a lot to locals who sacrificed their land for project and this station is major help for pilgrims from kerala. North bound trains like Matsyagandha, mangala, madgano pass, and bangalore bound trains gets good patronage in Kuda , kerala bound trains get passengers here, they are all pilgrims.
