Andhra pradesh government releases Rs 100 crores for the construction of Rayadurg - Tumkur new railway line.
Great News. This region and particularly this route deserves the allocation of funds, as it reduces the distance of travel by rail. Also this line becomes important transit route in future.
Good news,however Karnataka govt's commitment towards land acquisition has remained a non-starter
who is going to execute the project? SWR or SCR?
If it SWR, it will take next 2 decades to complete and will be designed/ executed in such a way that no trains can be run in that stretch.
