Sharing one of my horrible experience of Bhagalpur Surat Tapti Ganga Express...
It was in 2012 I was travelling from Satna to Surat...and our train was planned to arrived on PF#1 and we all members with full luggage was waiting at PF#1 and suddenly train Arrived at PF#2 without any announcement... Chaos was there all people was running towards FOB as it was not feasible to cross tracks at night....
Then Our reservation was in SL coach S4 tha...train was hauled by TWIN WDM-3 of ITARSI shed...

S4 coach was locked from.inside.... Me and my dad...mama all knocked soo many times...but they didn't opened.. After some time the rear door opened and what I saw was full SL coach was jam packed...all seats was occupied by wait listing passengers and 40% paxx was having general tickets...and travelling in SL coach..when I reached towards my berth it was too occupied by some passengers...when I asked them to get up..they didn't...and they start showing us the general ticket and saying TTE has provided them this berth by charging extra money..and pta ni kaise itni rush meh meri Mami ka purse and Mama ka Mobile chori hogya...
And train started...I decided that I won't let the train move ahead unless I don't get my berths...so I pulled chain and stop the train...after few mins...it again started..and I pulled the chain again.. In between one man started shouting on my mom "saying surat tak sahi salamat pochna hai toh chupchap betho jao niche aur train ko chalne do"...mujhe zyada gussa aaya and firse 3rd time chain pull ki...so RPF wale and TTE aagye...Maine unhe sab situation samjayi...TTE said Maine in he berth Diya tha...but kaha tha ki SATNA se passenger aayenge toh khali karna....plus RPF ne b bahut sare passenger ko coach se bahar nikal Diya...and Hume apni seat allot ki...
And jaise hi RFP wale gye....TTE ne kaha..."iss train ka saal bhar yahi haal rehta h...abb chain mat khichyo aapko apni berth mil gyi hai pls cooperate karna insab se b aur humse b..." Aur woh chala gaya...and as train started...sab log jinhe RPF walo ne bahar nikala tha woh andar aagye....and again coach was jam packed...sab hamari seats par b beth gye..thodi thodi jagah karke....
It was the worst 22 hrs of my life....in this train..!!
Tabse I had decided ki kahi b Jana ho AC meh hi reservation karvau instead of SL.
