The bypass track can be clearly noticed when coming from VSKP Side, it'll be right after a lake on the left side. From RJY Side. Unless someone keenly notices it cant be spotted as the both sides of that track is surronded by Trees.
The bypass track is fit for Goods traffic only. Laid specially to save Loco reversal Time at SLO & Free flow of Goods traffic between VSKP & KKD during non-rush hours.

Regarding the platform topic, pitline at yard is much more helpful than it. The third platform is usually occupied by special trains. Otherwise it will remain empty. The current two existing lines are over utilised with one being a dedicated for Gowtami from mrng-evng.
